Colin Talbot

Colin is emeritus  professor of government at University of Manchester. He is also a research associate at the Centre for Business Research, Judge School of Business, University of Cambridge, and a senior research fellow at The Federal Trust. Colin's main area of expertise is in public services and management reform with a particular interest around governments, academics, and policy. He has worked as a part-time consultant and advisor to various governments and public services in the UK and internationally. 

Colin's involvement with co-operatives comes from his life-long interest in human organisation, especially why and how humans co-operate.  He was co-opted to the UKSCS trustee board in February 2025.
