Rory Ridley-Duff became Professor of Co-operative Social Entrepreneurship at Sheffield Hallam University after establishing an MSc Co-operative and Social Enterprise Management and five years as Reader in Co-operative and Social Enterprise. His research programme on solidarity co-operatives led to the publication of the FairShares Model and he co-founded the FairShares Association in 2015. He has recently retired from his second spell as a board member of the UKSCS during which he co-chaired the 2017 and 2018 conferences and was chair of UKSCS from 2020-2022. This conversation took place as Rory was due to step down from the UK Society for Co-operative Studies and head into retirement.
